About Fixins

Fixins Soul Kitchen, Los Angeles is a new, full-service soul food restaurant located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at the L.A. LIVE complex. Fixins seeks to set the standard for the American soul food experience by offering authentic soul food and impeccable service in a hip, energetic atmosphere. Guests experience “Black Excellence” through our delicious cuisine, impeccable service and spotless restaurant.

Our 6,800 sq ft restaurant has a maximum capacity of 271 guests. We offer a full bar, semi private seating as well as outdoor dining and can accommodate large parties, banquets, catering and full restaurant buyouts. Fixins LA is located next to the GRAMMY Museum, within walking distance of Crypto.com Arena and is a close neighbor to the Los Angeles Convention Center, Peacock Theater and The Novo.

Fixins was founded to bring community together to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of African Americans. The concept originated with the flagship location in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento in 2019. Situated in the 40 Acres Cultural Complex, the original store is deeply imbedded in the community we serve. Fixins partners with Edible Sac High to encourage disadvantaged youth to become interested in the restaurant industry, and we are committed to being a second chance employer to assist with re-entry into the workforce for underemployed populations. We are currently striving to become a TRUE Zero waste facility and partner with homeless assistance organizations to minimize waste and maximize community benefits.
