Buy Metrolink's $10 Weekend Pass to get to X Games 17

Metrolink is now offering a Weekend Pass for only $10. This pass allows a passenger to ride anytime, anywhere systemwide* from 7 p.m. on Friday through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.

The Weekend Pass includes free rail and bus connections throughout Southern California. For example, if you purchase a Weekend Pass and take Metrolink from Irvine to downtown Los Angeles, you can board the subway at Los Angeles Union Station and ride to X Games 17 for free!

The $10 Weekend Pass is available for purchase at all Metrolink Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) starting at 7 p.m. on Fridays. 

How to Purchase the $10 Weekend Pass

DIRECTIONS

Take Metrolink trains to L.A. Union Station and then Metro Rail to STAPLES Center

1. Take Metrolink to LA Union Station.
2. Arrive at LA Union Station and walk downstairs to the Metro Rail Station. Take any Metro Red or Purple Line train to 7th Street/Metro Center Station (three stops from LA Union Station).
3. Once you arrive at 7th Street/Metro Center Station, head upstairs to make a quick connection to the Metro Blue Line. Get off at Pico/Chick Hearn Station (the first stop) and walk over to STAPLES Center.

*Pass is not valid for travel beyond Oceanside to Del Mar/Solana Beach
