Public Transportation

L.A. LIVE is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles, near STAPLES Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center.

There are many alternative forms of transportation with frequent stops near L.A. LIVE, including Metro Rail and Metro buses. Use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO METRO to find your most convenient form of transportation.

METROLINK

Metrolink operates train service within Southern California from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Orange, and North San Diego Counties. They now have special weekend passes for only $10 which includes free rail and bus connections that stop a street away from L.A. LIVE. METRO RAIL

The L.A. LIVE campus is only a 2 minute walk from Pico Station (Blue Line) and a 7 minute walk from the 7th Street Metro Station (Red/Purple Line). Select the link below to find the route that's most convenient for you. You may also use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO METRO.

METRO BLUE LINE SERVICE ADVISORY (Effective Feb. 1, 2010, Download Advisory)

Due to construction for the future Expo Line, the Blue Line will be operating on a modified schedule over the next several months on select weeknights and weekends. Metro Trip Planner and Google Transit may not reflect these schedule changes, so please check the exact times posted at metro.net. Riders travelling to L.A. LIVE may reliably use the Red or Purple Lines and exit at 7th Street Metro Station, a 7 minute walk to the campus.

METRO BUS

Metro Bus routes services all of Los Angeles and has many lines that stop near L.A. LIVE including lines 441, 442 and 81. To find the route that's best for you, use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO METRO.

DASH BUS

DASH Bus Route F has several stops on Figueroa St. adjacent to L.A. LIVE. For details on DASH service, go to ladottransit.com.

AMTRAK

AMTRAK offers train service from beyond the Los Angeles area to Union Station, just minutes from L.A. LIVE. For service routes and schedules, visit amtrak.com or call (800) USA-RAIL. Taxi service is available from Union Station to the L.A. LIVE campus.
